FBS Mission Statement:

We at FBS believe that offensive coordinator Bryan Stinespring bears the largest share of the blame for years of sub-par output from some of the most talented players ever to set foot on Worsham Field. We believe the main objective of the VT football program - a national championship - will escape us as long as Stinespring is making the calls. We therefore advocate the improvement of our football program through the replacement of our offensive coordinator.

Scraping the bottom.

The coaches have lost the locker room and LT has lost his last remaining shred of confidence. Our receivers block like they're a ref and our offensive line is as offensive as I've seen it in a decade.

We suck.

We have to win out to go to a bowl. We haven't won on the road so far this year and Virginia is averaging over 41 points per game over their last two contests.

My friends, we're at the precipice. The moment we all knew was coming is upon us.

The chance of a traditional pull yourself up by the bootstraps VT turnaround disappeared long ago. This is our last gasp at trying to scrape together what might with enough spin be considered a mediocre season. Lose either of the next two and everything, EVERYTHING Frank Beamer has hung his hat on during the Stiney era is out the window. Ten win seasons, ACC championships, bowls. Gone.

Rosin up your fiddle, Frank. The fire is spreading.
