We believe the main objective of the VT football program - a national championship - will escape us as long as Stinespring is making the calls. We therefore advocate the improvement of our football program through the replacement of our offensive coordinator.

looks like it's a struggle between O'Cain and Stinebrainless over who is calling the plays. Hope O'Cain is able to hold out and win the majority of them so we see more of those good runs and long passes.

Tied with Clemson after a first half slop-fest. I hope MOC has some adjustments to make. Lets play a good second half and win this thing.

1. We're rattling Boyd and getting pressure on him. He's missing some reads and struggling with the speed of our D.
2. LT got in a rhythm at the end of the half and looked pretty good on his passes.
3. We've had dropped balls, missed calls, one bad play on O, one bad play on D, and the score is still 10-10.
4. We get the ball back and a chance to drive it down their throats in the 3rd.
I think if we can open up some holes for DW, it will open of the passing game even more. I'd like to see a fake bubble screen since CU is playing press coverage and have LT bomb it downfield. They're flying to the ball right now, so counter runs and option reads should work well until they change it up. Then we just pound the ball at them and mix in some quick slants with play action. Even if none of this stuff happens, we're great at making changes at halftime and I have confidence we'll do it again. Go Hokies!
Good Lord. The half-time entertainment pretty much seals the deal on the ACC being a premier conference.
I think next year they should feature 'bowling for dollars' at half-time. Or Amish rake fights.

This is not looking good. And I'm thinking Hosley's "stinger" is a concussion from the no call H-2-H. Our offensive line needs to step it up! For that matter, so does the officiating crew! They have been terrible considering they are supposedly "the best" in the ACC.

Well, that's about it. It was a great year guys. But we were due for an ACCCG loss eventually. There's really little chance of coming back from this.
ZERO composure as evidenced by penalties, ZERO run blocking, ZERO momentum, Bonner looking like a dear-in-the-headlights. It's over.
It was a good run but O'Cain doesn't have an answer fro Clem's DC. About the ONLY thing going for us in this game is the punting (save for that last one).
We still have a chance to win 12 games, but we will not win this one.

One last question, did we even gameplan for this game? The refs suck, good job Clemson is all we can say. Thier D has been all over LT and DW. We made 0 adjustments in the half and actually have played worse than the first half.
I guess the only other highlight are some decent KRs by Gregory. But that's it. Clemson just had our number this year.

I hate this for our defense. They been held together with duct tape for most of the year. Our offensive game plan was ridiculously stupid. What happened to the short screen, crossing routes, etc that have worked so successfully. It's like we decided before the game their D is too good and we threw our half the playbook!
So, who do we attack now for this ULTRA UNDERperformance!? Stineshit? Newsome? CFB? Foster? The players? WHO and WHAT THE HELL DO WE NEED TO BLAME TO FIX THIS FUCKING SHIT!?!?

lot of the problem is loss of hosley. they have a weak pass defense to begin with, take away the one decent player back there, and then they have to rearrange everything to help, which allows clemson to just run wild at will

what bothers me the most about this season was the inconsistency of the offense. i knwo that uva is not a great team, but the team that beat them 35-0 is not there tonight, this is more like the team that needed duke to miss two FGs to win.
I thought we should've implemented Davis more in this game simply BECAUSE of his height.
I'm sure Stineshit had a large portion to do with this because seriously, who calls a qb sneak from the shotgun.
all that being said, i think that this young team will be a power next season, with a healthy defense, and the return of roberts, could make a run at title.
I'm sure the team prepared for this game like they prepare for every game -- nothing different from CFB. Then they hit the field and find out that they couldn't catch a break from the refs, with several calls that really changed the momentum. Injuries screwed with the game plan, and the coaching staff fell into its old ways. It stuck with what it had worked out on the computer in the week before and didn't know how to adjust. Somehow O'Cain was overruled on his playcalling, leaving VT with its old ways of "when something works, stop doing it." We can only hope that in the offseason that some other coordinators are moved into administrative positions to get them out of the way of messing up game-day activities next year.
I switched to the Big Ten game and Gus Johnson's angelic voice immediately lifted my spirits. Hopefully the good team will show up to the Chick-Fil-A Bowl with something to prove and next year will be bright.
And THERE'S the 2nd pick on LT as that erases ANY and ALL progress he's made since the earlier game against Clemson. It's gonna be a HARD struggle for him to come back from this and develope again.

When has THAT EVER happened??? I'll tell you. NEVER. If we get a team from the SEC for our bowl I EXPECT ANOTHER 11-3 season. It absolutely doesn't look like we will get to 12 games this season.
Things CFB has FAILED TO ACHIEVE DURING HIS TENURE AT TECH:
-Win a National Championship
-Have a winning postseason (bowl) record
-Have a player win the Heisman
-Have a win over a #1 or #2 ranked team
-Have winning or .500 record against Top 10 ranked teams
12-19 against Clemson all-time. Now I may have to hear all the shit from my fam (cousin's and uncle, maybe aunt). Another NATIONAL EMBARASSMENT-EXPOSURE-EPIC FAIL on TV for the Va. Tech football program.
Bright spots for tonight:
-We weren't shutout from the endzone (save for the ENTIRE 2nd half).
-Coles had a good game.
-Davis had a good game.
-Mostly great punting from Danny "Ninja" Coale.
-Some decent KRs from Tony Gregory (a lot of which were nullified by TERRIBLE composoure on the blockers, a DIRECT reflection on CFB). But that's about it.
We STILL have a chance (albeit in my opinion SLIM) to win 12 games this season. But, after tonight I expect them to play uninspired in the Shit-Filet Toilet Bowl against an ANGRY and physical SEC team.
Need a coaching staff change. We need to show recruits out there that we are going to do what it takes to win. Change personel and save my liver. I drink way too much watching these games. CFB has run his course I am afraid and VT is losing respect from the BCS. Loyalty is great however it is starting to hurt us real bad.
