FBS Mission Statement:
We at FBS believe that offensive coordinator Bryan Stinespring bears the largest share of the blame for years of sub-par output from some of the most talented players ever to set foot on Worsham Field. We believe the main objective of the VT football program - a national championship - will escape us as long as Stinespring is making the calls. We therefore advocate the improvement of our football program through the replacement of our offensive coordinator.

Again, not even a sniff of the Heisman. not even a plug for next year if there is one.
DAVID WILSON-FUCK YEAH!!! And you know what, fuck the Heisman Award and the committee. That award is becoming overrated anyways.
If we beat Clemson, DW is in everyone's top 5 Heisman list.
Like it or not, the Heisman has become a de facto MVP award for teams contending for the BCS championship.
I have seen DW's name on quite a few watch lists, though he hasn't cracked any major top-5 lists yet. But it's still early. If he stays consistent and VT wins out expect to see a late season surge and an invite to New York for Mr. Wilson.
As long as we're talking about the Heisman, I don't think Wilson has a realistic shot unless he gets more yards per carry and touchdowns than Trent Richardson. I think Wilson will beat RMFW's record for yards in a season but not touchdowns. Logan Thomas gets too many touchdowns in goal line situations for Wilson to put up a Heisman-worthy number of TDs. That being said, if we beat Clemson in the ACCCG and Wilson keeps producing numbers at this rate I think he gets a front row seat to see Andrew Luck get his trophy.
If DW comes back next season I think he's an early favorite.
