FBS Mission Statement:
We at FBS believe that offensive coordinator Bryan Stinespring bears the largest share of the blame for years of sub-par output from some of the most talented players ever to set foot on Worsham Field. We believe the main objective of the VT football program - a national championship - will escape us as long as Stinespring is making the calls. We therefore advocate the improvement of our football program through the replacement of our offensive coordinator.
Wow. Spend a little time roaming around the Internet today and you can find links and references to us popping up all over. Some
love us, some
agree with us, some
disagree with us (
or agree, depending on the year, I guess), and some apparently think...
we're livestock?
The goat does bear a striking resemblance to Illinois Hokie...
We've even been getting some linkage from our opponents:
ECU,
GT &
Miami.
I, for one, am not surprised. It was only a matter of time until people started noticing HOW BAD STINEY IS for this program. We're the "assholes" and "jackasses" now, but when all is said and done, most of those people will be singing an entirely different tune. We've
been around for a while, and unless Stiney gets the boot - we aren't going anywhere anytime soon!
For now, welcome newcomers! Feel free to stick around and leave some comments, or just keep linking to us from your respective sites. It's all the same to us!

To get 720 "F" votes after this past game tells me that we have a lot of support for the purpose of this blog.
What did you vote Mike?
Big fat "F". What else would I vote for?
Just checking! LOL. I voted F too. The gameplan played to our weaknesses instead of our strengths and it was not designed to attack UNC's weaknesses on d. The gameplan was doomed for failure and then there was no adjustments until at least halftime...
Okay, now I'm pissed. That goat agreed to sign a non-disclosure agreement...
I saw that you posted a link to Operation Sports... I'm The GIGGAS over there and I'm constantly posting links to your site because it's amazing, and it's completely true in every way. I'll continue to do so, since you guys put up great articles.
I just wanna know who the idiots are who voted A or B !!!!???? Maybe Stiney got all his fam to log on and vote for him....lol.
@Higgy
I know last time we got a bunch of A's and B's was when a link was posted on the UVA boards. So I'm suspecting them.
Looks like Kyle Tucker came around. Maybe he was forced to be pro Stinespring prior or just didn't look up the stats prior?
Charlie,
I don't know. ESPN spent a good amount of time talking about how we did not score a single first half point despite good starting field position on nearly every single drive. That's really, really, really, really embarrassing for a team at home favored to win by more than 10 points! I have to think Kyle was perhaps tired of beating the proverbial dead and talking negative about Stinespring and thought he would cover something else (the new popular theme among the fans here on the msg boards is to blame the defense and bud foster for everything this season, which I think is ridiculous). Most VT fans expect way too much out of the defense and we give the offense a pass for mediocre at best play. All I am asking for is to hold both the offense and defense to the same high standards. If Frank Beamer did that, he would have cleaned house already with most of the offensive coaching staff. Instead, everyone on that side of the ball gets to keep their cushy 6 figure jobs plus all of the other perks that come with the job and they will probably get a raise this season. That doesn't seem fair to hold Bud and the defense to amazingly high standards and Stiney and the rest of the offensive coaches to incredibly low standards in order to justify retaining them on the staff? If VT was really the football powerhouse we claim to be, wholesale coaching changes on the offensive side of the ball would have been implemented already. We are nowhere near SEC lever because Frank is not willing to make business decisions and cut his friends off for producing subpar results year after yr...
ummm even though kyle posted stats he was being sarcastic. How did you all not pick up on that.
brgut1, we picked up on it... it's amateur journalism... he should be reporting on the team.,. if he has time to get into a tit for tat with other bloggers, then that's his issue... right now, I think Darryl Slater of the Richmond Times is doing the best work...
brgut, i think you're definitely right to call out kyle's tongue-in-cheekiness, and blatant sarcasm at times - it's definitely there.
he's taking shots at us, to a point. but if you read the jest of the actual article, he's agreeing with us, via the stats. so he might be calling us out for blatantly calling him a stinespring supporter, or calling us out for our tendency to put everything 110% on stinespring.......but via the stats and overall purpose of the article, he's supporting us, even if it's by accident.
if his plan was to railroad us like we're morons, he failed. as the meat of his article was in support of our articles. i'll gladly take a jab here or there from him (i recently started jabbing him, so it's only fair). i'll gladly take that jab hidden in parantheses in an article in which his stats sing the same tune we do.
