FBS Mission Statement:

We at FBS believe that offensive coordinator Bryan Stinespring bears the largest share of the blame for years of sub-par output from some of the most talented players ever to set foot on Worsham Field. We believe the main objective of the VT football program - a national championship - will escape us as long as Stinespring is making the calls. We therefore advocate the improvement of our football program through the replacement of our offensive coordinator.

Another Former Hokie Weighs in on Stiney

One of our fellow FBSr's sent me an email pointing out some interesting tweets by former VT Linebacker Brenden Hill:

BrendenHill - Top 5 Defense + Top 5 Special Teams +111th Ranked Offense=Ten Wins and ACC Championships! I need a the Big 1!! But I'm proud of my guys

BrendenHill - I apologize to Bryan Stinespring. It isn't his fault we lost but I need more than 10 points from my offense.

BrendenHill - I'm SICK!!! GT has always given us trouble! Damnit Bryan Stinespring!

BrendenHill - Note to Virginia Tech: Go Hire Cincinattis Offensive Coordinator!!!

It's nice to see that more players have some reservations about Stiney's coaching ability. If any of you come across any other former players who speak ill of the BS: Great Failure, please let us know at firebryanstinespring@gmail.com.

As always: T-Shirts, anyone?

He shouldn't apologize to Stiney! Stiney deserves the criticism after yrs of ineptitude. BH is just afraid of ole' Boss Beamer!

Stiney should apologize to the whole program for being grossly incompetent and costing the program at least 1 NC if not 1 this year.

Late info, but here's more courtesy of the Sacramento Bee story on Josh Morgan moving into the starting lineup with the 49ers:

"Morgan is still in learning mode. Part of that stems from playing at Virginia Tech, where the emphasis was on the running game. Morgan said he only knew a handful of routes upon entering the NFL and wasn't disciplined in running them.

and this:

"Morgan is the most athletic wide receiver on the roster, and (Alex) Smith said he has no misgivings about throwing a pass down the sideline and allowing Morgan to outleap his opponent for the ball."
