First, it's excellent not to have to be here lately, bitching about Stinespring. I hope this continues. If it does, I will be the first to eat crow and retire my guest writership here at FBS.
Second, if you are in the Atlanta area, there are still tickets left to the Georgia Tech game this weekend. They're at face value + a small processing fee, so if you can get to Atlanta for the 6:00 kickoff, wear maroon and get out there!
Go Hokies! Go Sooners! Go Golden Hurricane!
I can't bring myself to say "Go Irish" ever, but I wouldn't be completely saddened if they won...
And I hope not to write here for a while again...
FBS Mission Statement:
We at FBS believe that offensive coordinator Bryan Stinespring bears the largest share of the blame for years of sub-par output from some of the most talented players ever to set foot on Worsham Field. We believe the main objective of the VT football program - a national championship - will escape us as long as Stinespring is making the calls. We therefore advocate the improvement of our football program through the replacement of our offensive coordinator.

Here's an interesting read. As it turns out, it seems that Stiney has started to take some responsibility for his poor play calling:

I'm just glad that offense isn't losing games for us...
And moreover *gasp* the offense won one for us @ Duke.
we have half a season more to go and the there will be at least a game or two that the offense will have to win... We will see if Stiney keeps this up..
I didn't say that I wouldn't write again, just that I'd welcome the opportunity not to have to do so! :-)
Well, Karthik, speaking for the admins, we're all lookingforward to the day where nobody writes on this site anymore.
And if this offensive outburst proves to be more than just a flash in the pan, it looks like that day might actually be coming.
Eventually.
