FBS Mission Statement:

We at FBS believe that offensive coordinator Bryan Stinespring bears the largest share of the blame for years of sub-par output from some of the most talented players ever to set foot on Worsham Field. We believe the main objective of the VT football program - a national championship - will escape us as long as Stinespring is making the calls. We therefore advocate the improvement of our football program through the replacement of our offensive coordinator.

From the "Where Are They Now?" Department...

The IH was just curious if anyone was aware that former Hokie tailback Branden Ore finished up his career at West Liberty College, where he rolled up 1,257 rushing yards and 20 TDs in an 11 game season. His performance was good enough to earn him an invitation to the NFL Scouting Combine.

The IH hasn't heard Branden Ore's name (unless it was immediately preceeded by the words "that motherf***er") since he was dismissed from the team, and I was just sort of surprised when I stumbled accross a story about him on Yahoo! Sports.

The IH still harbors some ill will toward Branden Ore, but I'm willing to put enough of that behind me to hope that he actually makes it in the NFL. The kid's got the talent, no doubt. It was always a question of whether he could handle the attention. And it doesn't bode well that Ore's best season happened in front of the considerably smaller crowds of Division II football.
